In the past year I was invited to give a handful of talks related to moderation in the metaverse. Most of them were in Korea, where interest in virtual worlds is ahead of the U.S. by many years. Until recently, most of my talks were to academic audiences, so I found it very meaningful to talk to companies and think tanks. In June, I was invited to give a keynote at the ACM MMSYS conference, which was very rewarding because it was a highly technical audience that I would normally not speak to.
