A huge fan of Trent Reznor, I was extremely proud that Nine Inch Nails’ Ghosts I-IV was the best-selling CC-licensed Mp3 album of 2008, topping Amazon charts even though it was free.
To brag more about Trent’s awesomeness, he actively supports amateur remix— not just of audio, but also of video, as can be seen in a recent forum post in which he pointed fans to 405 GB of HD live footage available through bit torrent:
A mysterious, shadowy group of subversives somehow was able to shoot the footage due to a lack of security at the shows in question. I’ll bet some enterprising fans could assemble something pretty cool (with the footage). Oh yeah, you didn’t hear this from me.
You bet we didn’t.
