In a country like Korea, it’s hard for women wearing plus sizes, because clothing makers just don’t make clothes that are larger than a size 10 or 12. The fashion industry, however, is coming to realize that this is a huge market and that not all Asians are small and skinny (No DUH).

The Big Women Fashion Show was held on April 9 with the subtitle of “Big is Beautiful.” Many westerners would cringe at the somewhat offensive connotation of the title, but the makers of the show aren’t just interested in overweight persons. They are also thinking of tall women, many of whom cannot find big shoes or clothes with broad shoulders.
