In China, people are apparently not embarassed about hanging out laundry. In old neighborhoods, hanging laundry isn’t so shocking, but it is when it’s fluttering out of windows of nice, newly-built apartment buildings. Or maybe there is something about laundry-hanging that they know and I don’t.
