This year, the largest conference for Human Computer Interaction took place in Hawaii. I co-hosted a workshop on generative AI and had two late breaking works related to content moderation. Always lovely to catch up with old friends from all over the world! This year, 8 professors from NJIT were present, our best turnout so far. A
lso met with an old student working in Hawaii. I am typically not a beach person (I don’t understand why one would want to lie on sand all day) but the water was warm and the non-touristy beaches were quite lovely.
